Building the agency tier with our first 10 charter partners.
The core Recon pipeline — 17 data sources, 7-stage AI analysis, scored competitor benchmarks, Monday Actions, and interactive client portal — runs in production today. The agency-specific layer on top (white-label branding, PDF export, batch API, custom subdomains, automated refresh schedule) is in active development, built alongside the first 10 charter agencies.
Read this first. This page is deliberately transparent about what ships today vs. what's on the roadmap. Every feature below is labeled with its actual status. No aspirational claims — if it's not live, it says so.
Shipping in production today. You can use it right now.
We do this by hand for charter agencies while we build the automation.
Built, needs production hardening. Charter cohort gets first access.
Not built yet. Scoped for delivery during the charter program.

What we're building with the charter cohort
These are the agency-specific layers on top of the shipping pipeline. Every item is scoped with a target delivery quarter. Charter agencies get first access as each piece ships and shape requirements before we lock the final design.
White-label branding Manual now → Roadmap Q3
Today: we manually swap your logo into report templates before each render. Target Q3: self-service upload of logo + primary color, applied automatically to all reports, guides, and portals.
PDF export Roadmap Q3
Currently reports are HTML only. PDF export (via WeasyPrint) is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. Until then: agencies can print-to-PDF from the browser or share the HTML URL directly with clients.
Agency dashboard Live
Unified SPA at gonerecon.com/agency/dashboard/: Cognito sign-in, roster of client domains with latest scores and last-run dates, client-detail drawer with per-client report/guide/portal links. Shipped Sprint 2 (2026-04-17). Bulk-action tools and CSV export scoped for the next iteration.
Batch report API Roadmap Q3
Single API call to queue fresh reports across your whole book. Today: we run the batch manually for charter agencies on request.
Automated refresh schedule Roadmap Q3
Monthly or weekly auto-runs per client, per tier. Today: we run refreshes manually for charter agencies on a schedule we agree to in onboarding.
Custom subdomain Roadmap Q4
reports.youragency.com serving your branded reports. Requires DNS + ACM cert automation — genuinely 2-3 weeks of engineering. Scoped for Q4 2026 with SSL cert provisioning and per-agency CloudFront behavior.
Public API + keys Roadmap Q4
No public API exists today. API key management, rate limiting, and docs scoped for Q4 alongside the batch API endpoint.
Multi-tenant schema In development
The DynamoDB schema change that lets one agency account own multiple client reports with quota enforcement is in development. Until it lands, we manage charter agency accounts manually — no enforcement risk during the charter period since we're onboarding personally.

Charter partners get 50% off × 6 months. After month 6 you roll to list price automatically, with 30 days' notice.

10 charter spots total. Charter pricing runs for 6 months from the first payment; month 7 onward moves to list price ($399 / $799 / $1,499). Cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal. In exchange we ask for honest feedback and a testimonial after 90 days.
Agency FAQ
How does charter pricing work?
Charter partners pay 50% off the list price for the first 6 months: $199/mo (Starter, $399 list), $399/mo (Growth, $799 list), or $749/mo (Scale, $1,499 list). We cap the program at 10 agencies. Month 7 automatically rolls to list price, with 30 days' notice before the transition. Cancel any time from your Stripe customer portal — no lock-in beyond the month you're in. Quota enforcement runs per tier (15 / 40 / 100 client domain reports per month); charter agencies can request a one-time bump if a big onboarding push temporarily breaks the ceiling.
How is this different from SEMrush or Ahrefs?
SEMrush and Ahrefs are data tools — they give you raw numbers and dashboards. Recon is a report tool — we synthesize 17 data sources through a 7-stage AI pipeline (with a Claude Opus advisor on strategic sections) and produce a written report with ranked Monday Actions, benchmarked competitor scoreboard, and a 90-day improvement guide. Your agency brings the strategy layer on top. We handle the data-to-narrative translation.
What does "white-label" actually mean today?
Today: we swap your logo into the report template manually before each client render. It's a real human step on our side. Target Q3 2026: self-service logo + color upload, applied automatically to reports, guides, and portals. Custom subdomain (reports.youragency.com) is Q4 2026 because it requires per-agency SSL cert provisioning.
Can clients tell it's Recon underneath?
During the charter period: partially. We strip Recon branding from the emailed executive brief and PDF-printable reports; the web-rendered report and portal still carry some Recon branding because the templating layer isn't fully tokenized yet. Full brand strip lands with the Q3 white-label work.
How long does a report take to generate?
About 6 minutes per domain end-to-end when run locally. Our production Lambda has a 900-second ceiling and has occasionally hit timeouts on the largest profiles; when that happens we run the analysis locally and publish the result. Charter agencies get a direct channel to flag any stuck runs.
Do I need to give you client credentials?
No credentials required for the base report. We pull from publicly accessible sources: the client's website, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Places API, public review platforms, SEO crawl, robots.txt + llms.txt, DNS (for email auth), sitemap, and Tavily SERP snapshots. Optional: Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and CMS connectors (WordPress, Wix, Cloudflare, GitHub, GoDaddy) add depth — but the report runs without them.
Can I pay annually?
Not today — only monthly billing is set up in Stripe. Annual pricing (with ~20% discount) is on the Q3 roadmap alongside the standard-tier launch.
What if a roadmap item slips?
We'll tell you as soon as we know. If a feature you were counting on doesn't ship within one quarter of its listed target, you can cancel your charter agreement with a pro-rated refund of the remaining months, no questions asked.
Do you compete with me?
No. Recon is a platform company. We don't take on services engagements, we don't do strategy work, we don't bid on client projects. Your clients stay yours. If you want a lane-sharing frame: Recon is to agencies what Ahrefs and SEMrush are — tools you resell or use internally, not competitors for services revenue.
What happens when my charter term ends?
At month 6, you move to the then-current standard agency tier at list price. We give you 30 days' notice before the transition. If the standard tiers aren't live yet, the charter pricing extends until they launch.
