Founding Agency Program

Building the agency tier with our first 10 charter partners.

The core pipeline — 21 data sources, 7-stage AI analysis, 14-dimension scoring, competitor benchmarks, Monday Actions, 90-day improvement guide, interactive client portal, and a live agency dashboard to manage your whole book — runs in production today. The polish layer on top (self-serve white-label, branded PDF export, batch API, custom subdomain, automated refresh, annual billing) ships through Q3–Q4 2026, built alongside the first 10 charter agencies.

Read this first. This page is deliberately transparent about what ships today vs. what's on the roadmap. Every feature below is labeled with its actual status. No aspirational claims — if it's not live, it says so.

Three deliverables, one agency meeting

Every Recon analysis ships as three artifacts because that's how agency partners actually run a prospect meeting. Hand out the one-pager, walk through it, leave the report and guide behind as proof of professionalism. The motion was named by Rob Ruder (IDIC Designs) and we built the deliverables to match it.

1. Hand out

The One-Pager

A printed 8.5×11 sheet covering score, biggest opportunity and risk, 5 Monday-morning actions, and head-to-head with the named #1 competitor. Built so a prospect can read it cold in 90 seconds. Why it matters: gives the meeting a focal point. The prospect's eye lands on the same data you're walking them through.

2. Walk through

The Deep Report

Live on a per-client URL. Same data as the one-pager but with every metric, every named competitor, every category sub-score, and the data sources behind every number. Open it on the meeting screen for the deep dive. Why it matters: when the prospect asks "where did this number come from?", you click into it. The credibility move.

3. Leave behind

The Improvement Guide

90-day playbook grouped by category. Tool recommendations, cost estimates, success metrics for every step. Lives at the same client URL as the report. Why it matters: the prospect leaves the meeting with a billable scope of work in their inbox. You've already proposed the engagement before they've finished their coffee.

What ships today

These are in production right now at gonerecon.com. Reports generate in ~6 minutes, render as a responsive HTML page, and come with an interactive per-client portal.

Digital Maturity Score Live

14-dimension score — Website, SEO, AEO, GBP, Reviews, Content, Pricing, Brand, Growth Signals, Risk Signals, Advertising, Compliance, Financial Signals, Email Auth — benchmarked against industry averages and rolled up into 4 CEO-level groups (Visibility, Reputation, Operations, Growth). Why it matters: one defensible number per client that moves when work ships, so you can show progress on a monthly retainer.

Competitor Scoreboard Live

Auto-discovered local + industry competitors, scored on the same 14 dimensions, ranked head-to-head. Why it matters: turn every pitch into "here's where you rank vs. your 5 closest rivals" — no manual research.

Monday Morning Actions Live

5 ranked actions the client can take this week. Each with estimated time, outcome, and cost. Why it matters: drop straight into your next client QBR — no "what should we work on this month?" meeting.

Improvement Guide Live

90-day playbook grouped by category with tool recommendations, cost estimates, and priority sequence. Why it matters: a billable scope of work for each client, delivered the moment you onboard them.

One-Pager (meeting flyer) Live

A single-page print-ready executive brief for every report — score with grade, biggest opportunity and risk, 5 Monday Morning Actions, head-to-head competitor breakdown, and trust & AI visibility checklist. Auto-published at gonerecon.com/reports/{slug}/one-pager/ alongside the deep report. Why it matters: walk a prospect through one printed page in 5 minutes. Hand it out, walk through it, leave the deep report behind as proof of professionalism. The exact agency-meeting motion Rob Ruder (IDIC Designs) asked us to build.

Email Deliverability Audit Live

SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, MX — full stack check via DNS. Flags auth gaps blocking client newsletters and cold outreach. Why it matters: catches the #1 silent killer of client email campaigns before their next send.

Tracking Coverage Analysis Live

Pixel inventory across GA4, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and 30+ platforms. Flags measurement + attribution gaps. Why it matters: prove paid-media ROI by fixing the tracking before the spend, not after.

SEO + AEO Deep Dive Live

Indexation status, schema coverage, AI-answer readiness, keyword gaps vs. competitors, on-page issues ranked by fix cost. Why it matters: captures AI-search readiness (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) that traditional SEO tools miss.

Agency Dashboard Live

Unified SPA at gonerecon.com/agency/dashboard/ with Cognito login. Add clients, trigger fresh reports, watch live job status (polls every 5s), open any client's detail drawer with report/guide/portal links, generate branded share links, and email reports directly to your clients from your agency address. Why it matters: you manage your whole client book from one screen instead of one report at a time.

Interactive Client Portal Live

Per-client persistent portal at gonerecon.com/portal/{slug}/. Share the link with your client so they can review their report, track recommended actions, and watch their score improve over time. Clients connect their own integrations (Google, Cloudflare, WordPress, Wix) to enable automated score updates — that connection happens on the client side, not yours. Applying the actual fixes is a separate consulting engagement between you and your client; the portal surfaces the data and prioritizes what to work on. Why it matters: a self-serve artifact you hand clients between QBRs — keeps them engaged without adding hours to your week.

What we're building with the charter cohort

These are the agency-specific layers on top of the shipping pipeline. Every item is scoped with a target delivery quarter. Charter agencies get first access as each piece ships and shape requirements before we lock the final design.

White-label branding Manual now Self-serve Q3 2026

Today: we manually swap your logo into report templates before each render — reach out and we handle it per batch. Q3 2026: self-service upload of logo + primary color, applied automatically to every report, guide, and portal at render time. Why it matters: your client sees your agency brand on the deliverable, not Recon's — turns the report into a brandable asset you can charge for.

PDF export Roadmap Q3 2026

Today: reports are HTML only — you can print-to-PDF from the browser or share the URL. Q3 2026: one-click branded PDF export via WeasyPrint, ready to email or attach to a proposal. Why it matters: some clients want a document, not a link — and PDFs are the artifact you bill a one-time strategy engagement against.

Batch report API Manual now API Q3 2026

Today: we run batch refreshes manually for charter agencies on request — ping us and we fire the queue. Q3 2026: one authenticated API call refreshes every client in your book. Why it matters: you deliver a monthly recurring report at scale without clicking through your dashboard 40 times.

Automated refresh schedule Manual now Automated Q3 2026

Today: we run refreshes on a cadence we agree in onboarding. Q3 2026: per-client monthly or weekly auto-runs, tier-gated. Why it matters: zero-touch recurring deliverable — you bill monthly, the report regenerates monthly, the client sees fresh competitive data without you lifting a finger.

Custom subdomain Roadmap Q4 2026

Today: reports live at gonerecon.com/portal/{client}. Q4 2026: reports.youragency.com serving your branded reports end-to-end, with automated SSL cert provisioning and per-agency CloudFront behavior (genuinely 2-3 weeks of engineering — being honest about the timeline). Why it matters: the final 10% of white-label — the URL itself says "your agency," not ours.

Public API + keys Roadmap Q4 2026

Today: no public API exists. Q4 2026: API key management, rate limiting, docs, shipped alongside the batch API endpoint. Why it matters: embed Recon into your agency's own internal tools, client portals, or reporting stack — we become infrastructure, not a separate destination.

Per-tier quota enforcement In development

Multi-tenant data model (one agency owning many client reports with ownership checks) is live — that's how the dashboard works today. What's still rolling out: automatic hard-stop enforcement of the 15 / 40 / 100 client-per-month ceilings. Why it matters for charter partners: zero risk during the program — we're onboarding you personally and we'd rather know from a real agency how to size quotas than guess. Request a bump whenever onboarding spikes.

Annual billing Roadmap Q3 2026

Today: monthly Stripe billing only. Q3 2026: annual billing at ~20% discount, shipped alongside the standard-tier launch. Why it matters: cleaner cashflow for your fiscal year, better unit economics on our side that we pass back to you.

Agency FAQ

How does charter pricing work?

Charter partners pay 50% off the list price for the first 6 months: $199/mo (Starter, $399 list), $399/mo (Growth, $799 list), or $749/mo (Scale, $1,499 list). We cap the program at 10 agencies. Month 7 automatically rolls to list price, with 30 days' notice before the transition. Cancel any time from your Stripe customer portal — no lock-in beyond the month you're in. Quota enforcement runs per tier (15 / 40 / 100 client domain reports per month); charter agencies can request a one-time bump if a big onboarding push temporarily breaks the ceiling.

How is this different from SEMrush or Ahrefs?

SEMrush and Ahrefs are data tools — they give you raw numbers and dashboards. Recon is a report tool — we synthesize 21 data sources through a 7-stage AI pipeline (with a Claude Opus advisor on strategic sections) and produce a written report with ranked Monday Actions, benchmarked competitor scoreboard, and a 90-day improvement guide. Your agency brings the strategy layer on top. We handle the data-to-narrative translation.

What does "white-label" actually mean today?

Today: we swap your logo into the report template manually before each client render. It's a real human step on our side. Target Q3 2026: self-service logo + color upload, applied automatically to reports, guides, and portals. Custom subdomain (reports.youragency.com) is Q4 2026 because it requires per-agency SSL cert provisioning.

Can clients tell it's Recon underneath?

During the charter period: partially. The web-rendered report and portal still carry some Recon branding because the templating layer isn't fully tokenized yet — we manually swap your logo on request. Full self-serve brand strip (logo + color upload applied at render time) lands with the Q3 2026 white-label work, and the custom subdomain (reports.youragency.com) lands in Q4 2026. If a client pushing back on "Recon" in the URL would block the deal, let us know — we'll prioritize the subdomain work for you.

How long does a report take to generate?

About 6 minutes per domain end-to-end when run locally. Our production Lambda has a 900-second ceiling and has occasionally hit timeouts on the largest profiles; when that happens we run the analysis locally and publish the result. Charter agencies get a direct channel to flag any stuck runs.

Do I need to give you client credentials?

No credentials required for the base report. We pull from publicly accessible sources: the client's website, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Places API, public review platforms, SEO crawl, robots.txt + llms.txt, DNS (for email auth), sitemap, and Tavily SERP snapshots. Optional: Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and CMS connectors (WordPress, Wix, Cloudflare, GitHub, GoDaddy) add depth — but the report runs without them.

Can I pay annually?

Not today — only monthly billing is set up in Stripe. Annual pricing (with ~20% discount) is on the Q3 roadmap alongside the standard-tier launch.

What if a roadmap item slips?

We'll tell you as soon as we know. If a feature you were counting on doesn't ship within one quarter of its listed target, you can cancel your charter agreement with a pro-rated refund of the remaining months, no questions asked.

Do you compete with me?

No. Recon is a platform company. We don't take on services engagements, we don't do strategy work, we don't bid on client projects. Your clients stay yours. If you want a lane-sharing frame: Recon is to agencies what Ahrefs and SEMrush are — tools you resell or use internally, not competitors for services revenue.

What happens when my charter term ends?

At month 6, you move to the then-current standard agency tier at list price. We give you 30 days' notice before the transition. If the standard tiers aren't live yet, the charter pricing extends until they launch.
